The first of the two EPEA Switzerland projects to win at this year’s Cradle to Cradle Innovation Award is Werner & Mertz, which manufactures household chemicals including the environmentally friendly line of household products called Frosch.
The second of the two winning projects is the textile manufacturer Lauffenmühle. With its infintio and reworx projects, the company produces working clothes in a sustainable manner. In keeping with the Cradle to Cradle principle, its objective is to break away from the mentality of regarding work clothing as disposal.
