SGS is already involved in food training through its worldwide SGS Academy, explains a news release. The partnership with Campden BRI, a global provider of food training, research and technical services, will bring SGS’s food training services to a wider international audience.
The specialist food training courses will cover a wide range of areas including raw materials, food technology, food processing, microbiology, food legislation and consumer and sensory science. The new partnership comes in response to a concern about an emerging skills shortage in the industry.
