As part of the cooperation between Alpiq E-Mobility and Audi, it was agreed that Alpiq E-Mobility would provide all installation work on the home charging stations, according to a news release. For owners of Audi plug-in hybrid models, this means that the previous gap between purchasing an electric vehicle and technical installation of a home charging station will now be closed.
The Alpiq E-Mobility offer also includes a home check in which Alpiq E-Mobility employees will check the home installation for safety and charging power. The next steps needed to set up the charging station will also be analysed at that time.
Thanks to the cooperation, Alpiq E-Mobility and Audi will be able to offer customers a complete service consisting of car purchase, delivery, installation and commissioning of the home charging station, explains the news release.
