This is the second time that Val Müstair has been certified with the Energiestadt (Energy City) label, writes Amstein + Walthert in a press release. The Energiestadt label is recognition of the municipality’s numerous energy policy measures. For instance, in addition to its sustainable economy, the town in the Münstertal emphasies eco-friendly tourism. All of the electricity used in the town and its surroundings comes solely from renewable sources, and priority is placed on producing electricity locally.

Val Müstair will continue to focus on energy policy in the future and plans to further reduce its environmental impact and energy costs. These measures will also contribute to an improved quality of life.

In addition to economic and environmental sustainability, Amstein + Walthert’s activities focus in particular on energy efficiency. Its services include consulting activities with regard to the 2000 Watt Society, as well as energy and climate protection concepts.
