The topic of sustainable building has long been of interest to Swiss architects and engineers. Interest is now growing in Brazil, too, which is why “expo arquitectura sustentável” – an exposition dedicated to green building – will be held in the country’s economic capital São Paulo.
As part of the expo, Ernst Basler + Partner and Geoklock, a Brazilian provider of environmental and engineering services, are organising a building sustainability symposium where institutions such as the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich and prominent companies from Brazil and Swiss can showcase new developments in green building. Particular focus will be paid to the sustainability aspects of financing, design and construction. Education and training will also be discussed.
