At this year’s Consumer Electrics Show (CES), digitalSTROM is showcasing applications such as the touchless operation of a coffee maker to the control of kitchen devices via YouTube videos. “We will demonstrate at the CES that the control of devices will also take place through language and video recognition, in addition to the classic switches, in the future. In this process, digitalSTROM acts like an invisible butler to coordinate the interaction of the devices and always considers the individual needs of all occupants”, says digitalSTROM CEO Martin Vesper.
The technology of the Schlieren-based company is suitable for use in the mass market because it can very easily become a part of any home system and is user friendly. “With digitalSTROM, life becomes more comfortable, safe, and energy-efficient. At the same time, we guarantee that the installation and extension through Plug & Play will remain as simple as it is today,” adds Vesper.
