Planning and consulting specialists Ernst Basler + Partner are to assist with methodology development and data processing for the platform. Eawag plans to use the web portal to import data on groundwater from different sources worldwide. The data will then be made available to international water boards, research institutes and private individuals.
The imported data will enable the creation of statistical models of water pollution. Their accuracy lies in the extent of the data material. Simple operation is therefore a key consideration in the creation of the web portal.
