According to an Implenia news release, the general programme of events at the Swiss construction company’s headquarters in Dietlikon included a presentation about the company. Various trainees then introduced themselves to speak about their apprenticeships, providing the youngsters an insider’s look into the various career opportunities at Implenia. They were even invited to work with their hands and tools and make crib scenes out of wood.
As part of National Futures Day, Implenia participated in a special project in Lucerne called Mädchen-bauen-los! (Go Girls, Build!). The project was meant to break down traditional role models. According to Implenia, more and more girls – as well as boys – take part in National Futures Day each year.
