Implenia lost the case over additional costs incurred during construction of the Letzigrund Stadium in Zurich. According to a statement last month, “Implenia notes that the Zurich District Court has in the first instance rejected Implenia’s claim for around CHF 23 million in the case about outstanding payments for subsequent alterations requested during the building of the Letzigrund Stadium.”
Implenia has now announced that it will reduce its claim by around CHF 3 million to CHF 20 million. Implenia is still of the position that “the city of Zurich must pay for the project modifications it requested and that were carried out” and is appealing the verdict to the Zurich High Court.
