The Swiss Climate Foundation bolsters Switzerland and Liechtenstein as economic centres by supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) contribute to protecting the climate. The foundation is now receiving financial support from RobecoSAM. “Through the Swiss Climate Foundation, we have the opportunity to take direct action on environmental and economic sustainability,” says Dr. Daniel Wild, board member of RobecoSAM.
Together with RobecoSAM, the foundation now receives funding from 27 partner companies. Their commitment is based primarily on the federal government’s CO2 levy: service companies that emit less CO2 than industry receive a refund on the initial amount that they paid, which is then forwarded to the Swiss Climate Foundation.
