Pachal Namembe, Trunz Water Systems’ distribution partner in Tanzania, supplied clean drinking water from the Survivor 300 to exhibition visitors. He was awarded second place of all exhibitors by the ministry of water for his innovative presentation, writes Trunz in a news release.
The Survivor 300 mobile unit comes in a shock-resistant, non-corrosive case and is ready to plug in and run using only a 12 volt battery pack or solar panels. It can be used in rural regions in developing countries around the world; all it needs is a fresh water source, be it from a lake, river or borehole. The Survivor 300 delivers around 180 litres of fresh water – free of viruses and bacteria – per hour using an ultrafiltration membrane and an activated carbon filter.
